Chat lets you connect with artists, collectors, and other users on SuperRare. Send a direct message to one person or bring several people together in a group conversation.

Direct and group chats

  • Direct chat: Have a one-to-one conversation with another user about their work, your collection, or a shared interest.

  • Group chat: Talk with several users in one conversation to share ideas and discuss art together.

Stay safe while chatting

Whitelisted artists on SuperRare have a **check mark next to their username**. This identifies them as an approved artist on the platform. Check for this mark when someone messages you claiming to be a SuperRare artist.

Scammers may pose as artists, collectors, or SuperRare team members. Receiving a message on SuperRare does not guarantee that the sender or their offer is trustworthy.

  • Never share your wallet seed phrase, private keys, or passwords.

  • Be cautious of unexpected links, downloads, payment requests, or requests to connect your wallet or sign a transaction.

  • Take time to verify who you are speaking with, especially if someone claims to represent SuperRare or pressures you to act quickly.

  • Artist invitations to join SuperRare arrive by email. Official SuperRare Labs emails end in @superrare.com.

If a message seems suspicious, stop and verify it before taking action. Read our Security and Safety guide for common scams and advice on protecting your account.
