We’re thrilled to finally support Gnosis Safe, a highly trusted wallet service for collective asset management and additional security.

Already have one? Follow the steps below to connect it to SuperRare and create a new account associated with your Safe's address. We recommend using Firefox or Chrome for best results.

Step 1: Head to http://gnosis-safe.io/app

Step 2: Once in the Gnosis Safe dashboard, add the SuperRare app by clicking the My custom apps tab.

Step 3: Add https://superrare.com/

Step 4: Once added, launch the SuperRare.com app on the Gnosis browser. Note: You must stay within the Gnosis browser use the Gnosis Safe app.

Step 5: Proceed with Safe to then create a new account with its wallet address.

Enjoy the additional security your new Gnosis-powered account permits you!

Remember: to connect your Safe to SuperRare when logging back in, you will need to do so through the Gnosis Safe browser. Gnosis should remember SuperRare as a custom app moving forward.

Why we're sunsetting support for Fortmatic wallet

We recently integrated RainbowKit, which provides a variety of support for other wallets in the web3 ecosystem. Unfortunately, RainbowKit does not support the Fortmatic wallet because the team at Fortmatic was rebranded to Magic, where they have shifted their focus to work on a new wallet product. Not to worry, you can still access your Fortmatic wallet on their website, and you can still access your SuperRare account with your Fortmatic wallet. We’ll walk you through the process below.

After following the steps in this article, read Importing Your Fortmatic Wallet to Metamask for additional steps on importing your keys into a new, supported Wallet.

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT: This MUST be done on a desktop browser and NOT on a mobile phone. Please note that ONLY you can perform this process. SuperRare Labs or Fortmatic CAN NOT do this for you. No one should be asking you for this file or private keys to complete the migration. For more scam prevention please refer to this help desk article: How to Avoid Scams

8. IMPORTANT: You will need to create another password that is not the password you used to sign into your Fortmatic wallet in order to access this encrypted file. Take a moment to do this process slowly. It is not a race. Please also read the note in the box labeled “REMEMBER THIS PASSWORD!”

9. The next menu you should see is the confirmation that your private key was exported securely:

10. IMPORTANT: Before you click [I have received the file], please check your Download folder to make sure you have successfully downloaded your private keys. The file should look like this:

11. Now that you exported your Fortmatic Wallet, you can now import it to a wallet of your choice! For MetaMask users, please see the following guide:

If you're using Walletconnect, you can select your wallet provider and follow the instructions provided by your wallet service on how to import your Fortmatic wallet into your wallet. Walletconnect serves as a middle layer to help connect your crypto wallet to dApps.

1. If you do not have a MetaMask wallet, you can download the extension here: https://metamask.io./

2. Create your wallet

3. Click on the top far right circle icon to bring out the Account Menu and select Import account:

4. Select Type: JSON File:

5. Select the file you downloaded that says fortmatic_keystore_mainnet…it should look like:

6. Enter the password you created when you exported your Fortmatic Wallet to decrypt the file.
